Ae!

Essa última sexta-feira foi foda, quase tudo que podia acontecer de ruim aconteceu. Acordei cedo e fui para aula fazer a prova de Lógica, acho que fui bem, mas devido ao que se sucedeu no resto do dia, tenho minhas dúvidas.

Mas a história não acaba ae, quando cheguei em casa a minha esposa notou que apareceu uma mancha vermelha na minha testa, bem entre os olhos, até agora não descobri o que é, e ela também não sumiu.

Depois disso fui para o laboratório, e estava feliz e contente programando o Amadis novo, e de repente, o meu notebook trava e desliga em seguida. Frio na barriga... Ligo o danado novamente, e...., nada!!

Already have some weeks that I am fighting against my machine, my laptop didn't want cooperates to me, every time that I boot it, it was spents something around 10 to 20 minutes to make all boot process (boot, display GDM, make login and start gnome session). 

I didn't want to make the OS re-instalation again, because at first time that I tried to install a linux distribuition in this laptop, the process was very dramatic.

Fortunatally, the Linux evolves very fast, and the Ubuntu show me again your superiority over the other distribuitions. In one day I make all installation and configuration and now I can come back to work from the point where I was stopped.

Before, I was using the Fedora Core 8, and don't like the experience For me, some features like SELinux and Yum are a little ugly and uncomfortable, with all that bureaucracy.

My only fear about come back with Ubuntu was my project, the WebJournal, but is work nicely, the sugar-jhbuild installation process, was unbelievably easy, what makes me think about the instalation process for Amadis and other software that I am developing.

Ae povo!

Essa semana estive fora do ar por dois motivos, o primeiro é que eu tive alguns problemas com o banco de dados, por algum motivo uma das tabelas corrompeu, e precisava ser restaurada.

O segundo motivo é que eu não estava com tempo para poder corrigir os problemas, mas acredito que agora esteja tudo ok.
